Mary Anderson has started to write for the Korongo Books blog about her upcoming hike, the subject of her next book, and I'm in the process of adapting the blog to multiple authors. Would you like to contribute an occasional post? For example, Theresa Bryant might write a short piece about what Baltimore, the setting of her family memoir, was like in the 1950s. Nancy Tucker might post a few photos of the old farmhouse she and Jay are renovating. Mary Oppel might post photos of her Kentucky childhood, or her home in France. Your post could be a recipe, a diary entry, a selection of photos, a poem, an essay, or a book excerpt. Blogging is a fun way to explore your subject and to connect with readers. You can start by emailing me a piece of up to1200 words, with a photo if you have one. You can even start with the photo and write a long caption to go with it. With your contributions, the blog would become a showcase for the behind-the-scenes work we do. If you are not working on a book, you can blog about whatever interests you as a writer.
