Bravery

Updated: May 21

Self-doubt: Most writers face it. In fact, most humans face it.

– I am not good enough.

– What will people think of me?

– Now they will see how stupid I am.

– They are so much better than I am.

The list could go on and on.

One thing that makes one a writer is bravery. Bravery to put your raw self out there, to allow yourself to be seen by others. Bravery to tell your truth.

What a gift we have with this Korongo site, enabling us to put ourselves into the public eye in such a supportive environment. I am grateful to all its members.

Jetta, a CDT Trail Angel, is one of the bravest people I ever met. She kept going after a fire burned 70 percent of her body.
