I rediscovered writing a few years ago when a friend created a summer writing group. I've been trying to write more regularly ever since. I like writing fiction and tend towards darker subjects, attempting to emulate my favorite authors, like Stephen King or Jo Nesbo. But, I don't shy away from essays or memoir. Poetry is a new challenge and I enjoy the freedom of it. I like the process of writing and feel like I have so much to learn, but I'm excited to do that. I live in Randolph, VT. My kids are barely kids any more. Our youngest (of three) is heading off to UVM this fall. My other passion is getting outdoors, especially on my bicycle on the miles of dirt roads that surround Randolph.
